My client is a growing prop trading firm specializing in the area of energy virtual trading and are looking for a Quantitative Trader to join their team.

What's the Job?

As a remote Quantitative Trader on their team, you will be joining a small company of 6 other traders. They are a virtuals-focused prop firm that has a small team of algorithmic traders mainly on MISO (Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas). You should have experience in these areas of trading.

You will have the opportunity to run current strategies that have been developed over the last few years and to develop new algorithmic strategies.

Compensation

• $300,000 - $500,000 Base Salary (with the ability to modify this based upon your interest in a P&L share).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in virtual electricity demand trading and strategy development.

Location

This position is fully remote with most of the team located in New York City.
