Qualifications

• Two years as a Forensic Scientist 2 or Forensic DNA Scientist 2, or four years in professional lab work with a relevant degree.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, forensic science, microbiology, or related field with 16 credits in chemistry or microbiology.
• Active PA non-commercial Class C driver's license required.
• Must meet PA residency requirements.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and direction of major quality and safety programs for statewide lab and inspection services.
• Ensure activities meet scientific and regulatory standards.
• Design and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System.
• Maintain records documentation and ensure proper handling and security of laboratory records.
