Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Quality Assurance Director to lead QA/RA activities within Project Farma, primarily in US markets, with domestic travel as needed. You will oversee complex GxP programs, drive regulatory readiness, and mentor teams to deliver high-quality life sciences projects.

The role emphasizes strategic client delivery, billable project leadership, and business development support in a dynamic consulting environment. Travel and leadership responsibilities are central to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific, regulatory, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• 16 years (Director) – 20 years (Sr. Director) of experience in life sciences quality, compliance, or regulatory roles, including consulting and/or owner‑side leadership.
• Demonstrated success delivering and advising on complex GxP, regulatory, and quality system initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, MHRA, ICH, WHO).
• Proven ability to support sales and business development in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or serve as project QA/RA lead or project lead/manager, guiding scope, approach and client communication.
• Maintain high billable utilization and travel as required to support client projects and regulatory activities.
• Support business development, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Develop thought leadership through white papers, frameworks, and internal methodologies.
• Mentor consultants and project Directors within Quality & Regulatory practice.
