Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer for a remote role. This position requires W2 candidates only and involves coding and troubleshooting Java daily, ensuring test plans align with business requirements, and developing reusable automation components.

You will support test data creation, participate in design reviews, and assist with test environment setup and maintenance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple automation programming languages and QA testing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and web technologies.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile and Behavior driven development.
• Working knowledge of test case management and execution using test management tools.
• Experience implementing and auditing automated test methodology and QA standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Codies and troubleshoots Java code daily.
• Ensures test plans align with business requirements through design and review sessions.
• Develops reusable and maintainable test automation components; executes tests and reports results; analyzes results and identifies root causes.
• Prepares and acquires test data; conducts peer reviews of test artifacts.
• Sets up and maintains test environments; develops test criteria for automation; creates architecture diagrams.
• Supports manual testers with automation needs and determines which manual tests to automate.
• Identifies technical and operational problems on installed systems, products, and services.
• Participates in testing activities for production deployments and remediation; may perform manual testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
