Job summary

Mindgrub Technologies is seeking a QA Manual Tester to ensure quality and reliability of custom web and mobile applications. You will work with developers, PMs, BAs, and QA peers to identify defects, verify fixes, and help deliver software meeting client expectations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality. You will communicate effectively, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

Two years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Experience testing on iOS and Android devices.
Familiarity with Jira and TestRail or similar defect tracking/test management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases from requirements and design specs.
Perform functional, regression, usability, exploratory, and UI testing for web and mobile apps.
Validate functionality and usability against requirements and best practices.
Identify, document, prioritize, and verify defects using Jira/TestRail.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify fixes before release.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.
Test across browsers, OS, and mobile devices; suggest improvements.
Participate in Agile planning, sprints, and QA process improvements.
Ensure each release meets quality standards before delivery.
