Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester
Location: 20171, Virginia

Responsibilities

• Validate a Sprint 0 Palantir proof of concept end-to-end, verifying that data migrated from a legacy system flows correctly through the Palantir pipeline into a target system consumable format.
• Execute data-migration validation activities incrementally alongside the build, culminating in client acceptance sign-off.
• Perform SAT (System Acceptance Test): validate the migrated data-flow against customer acceptance criteria; plan and facilitate customer validation sign-off.
• Perform SIT (System Integration Test): verify the bidirectional interfaces and the full end-to-end path into target system consumable output.
• Perform performance testing: validate pipeline/ETL throughput on the CDC workload across the ~40 normalized, time-variant tables; establish baseline performance metrics for the migrated flow.
• Conduct source-to-target data reconciliation (row/field-level integrity between the legacy system snapshot and the Palantir target).
• Execute schema-conformance and system data-quality/validation-rule testing.
• Conduct data-profiling and completeness checks to confirm nothing is lost or transformed incorrectly in migration.
• Complete test planning, case design, and requirements traceability; defect logging, triage, and retest.
• Execute incremental/Agile testing aligned to sprint cadence; perform regression as pipelines iterate.
• Use automated test/validation tooling and accelerators where available.

Requirements

• Experience testing scoped to unidirectional ingest.
• Must have SECRET clearance.
• Army data-migration or ERP/personnel-system testing; NIPR test-environment handling.
• Prefer candidate with any Palantir Foundry credential.
