WideNet Consulting Group seeks a Quality Engineer III to support a major airline industry standardization initiative. The role emphasizes data validation, database testing, system integrations, and QA across complex enterprise environments.

This is a one year remote contract based in the United States, with Pacific aligned hours and the flexibility to work from home. The candidate should have strong SQL, API, and automated testing experience to drive quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with data-focused QA and validation.
• Experience testing relational databases using SQL.
• Experience in integration, API, and data transfer testing.
• Strong test planning, execution, documentation, and defect tracking.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform data validation across systems, databases, and environments.
• Conduct smoke, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
• Use SQL to validate database changes and investigate data discrepancies.
• Create test data, document defects, analyze results, and prepare testing reports.
• Support User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and cross-functional technical teams.
