Job summary

CAI is seeking a QA/Disaster Recovery Test Engineer to execute test plans for an AWS GovCloud hosting environment supporting a state government client. This full-time, fully remote role focuses on validating DR failover and data integrity across multi-region setups, with involvement during initial build and recurring test cycles.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cloud QA/testing, hands-on GovCloud experience, and an ability to verify RPO/RTO targets. U.S. citizenship is required for access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA or test engineering in cloud environments.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud (US) experience.
• Experience validating disaster-recovery against RPO/RTO targets.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience with data validation in PHI-scale environments (preferred).
• AWS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute DR failover tests across GovCloud regions against RPO/RTO objectives.
• Lead recurring DR test cycles and track remediation to closure.
• Validate data integrity after failover or migration events.
• Support cutover rehearsals and rollback validation.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE for test environment setup.
