Job summary

QuantumLoopAI is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own automated testing for its live voice AI platform. You will build and maintain automated tests across backend and frontend, integrate tests into CI pipelines, and validate STT/TTS accuracy in end-to-end scenarios.

The role emphasizes hands-on Python scripting, API/UI test coverage, and collaboration with engineers, product, and operations. Fully remote, aligned to UK business hours, with competitive package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on QA automation or software testing with a strong automation focus.
• Strong hands-on Python — you write, debug and maintain test scripts daily.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated test suites across both API and UI layers.
• Comfortable testing REST APIs and working with structured data (JSON).
• Experience with automated web and UI testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with version-control workflows (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid grasp of QA methodology — test design, regression strategy, and defect lifecycle.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Comfortable working remotely and aligning to UK business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT/BST).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test coverage across backend services and the frontend.
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines so quality checks run automatically on every change.
• Work with engineers to turn real-world failures into permanent regression tests.
• Build and run outbound-call automation that tests the live voice pipeline.
• Test STT and TTS layers for transcription accuracy, pronunciation, and output quality.
• Run regression testing across multiple conversation flows and catch behavioural drift.
