Job summary

Veeva Systems in the Life Sciences SaaS space is hiring experienced Software Engineers in Test for Site Vault. You will perform functional and automation testing to deliver a high-quality SaaS platform used by pharma, biotech, and medical devices clients.

You will join a Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team, work in an Agile environment, collaborate with engineers and product managers, and have opportunities for technical leadership and learning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant work experience in software development and/or test automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with QA methodologies and automated testing in a fast release cycle.
• Experience writing test cases and automating them across various test types.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Create testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports.
• Automate features for better regression coverage.
• Triage and assist with automation results.
• Develop deep product expertise.
• Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules and timelines.
• Collaborate in an Agile team with engineers and product managers.
• Operate at architecture and code level during design/reviews.
• Provide technical leadership to junior teammates.
• Perform POCs and raise the quality bar.
• Enhance knowledge of code coverage tools and metrics.
• Work with quality management to roll out new processes.
• Become a technical contributor and team project manager supporting QA manager.
