Job summary

Ambry Genetics Corporation is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and develop software, systems, and integrations in a remote-US setup. You will work with a team of engineers and analysts in an agile environment to deliver additional product value.

The role emphasizes scalable Python applications, Flask/Django, and frontend work with HTML/CSS/JS, including ReactJS. Required is at least 3 years of Python experience in a professional setting, plus experience with RDS, MongoDB, and

Qualifications

At least 3 years of Python experience in a professional environment.
Experience with Python databases (RDS and NoSQL) and designing software per ticket specifications.
Participate in code reviews and Scrum ceremonies; work with stakeholders to understand workflows.
Develop Python apps with focus on scalability, performance, and security.
Experience with Flask and/or Django.
Frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of ReactJS preferred.
Strong SQL skills; write/optimize complex queries across multiple tables.
Experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
Familiar with REST, SOAP, AMQP web services.
Basic understanding of Docker containers.
