Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of applied Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
• Experience building large-scale production apps with high uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase and query tuning.
• Solid SDLC understanding and operational support experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and efficient design trade-offs.
• Proven debugging experience of complex enterprise apps in production.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with technical/business teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end design, development, and advanced troubleshooting for complex Python apps.
• Develop secure, production-ready Python code for distributed systems with concurrency and observability.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts aligned to performance and enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize data processing for large-scale datasets and both batch and near-real-time workloads.
• Gather and analyze diverse data to improve applications, reliability, or cost.
• Create reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders as needed.
• Identify defects and bottlenecks, improve coding standards and system reliability.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor others.
• Participate in Agile, CI/CD, testing, rollback, and monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with product, data science, operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support operational stability with structured incident response and post-incident reviews.
