Job summary

Tempus is seeking a software engineer to design and develop custom software, systems, and integrations. You will join a team of engineers, QA, and business analysts in an agile environment to deliver enhanced product value, writing code and designing technical solutions with IT operations.

You’ll participate in scrum ceremonies and work with stakeholders to understand workflows, while contributing to scalable, secure Python applications.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Python in a professional setting.
• Experience interfacing Python with databases (RDS, NoSQL).
• Design and develop software per ticket specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and scrum ceremonies.
• Meet with stakeholders to understand workflows and requests.
• Develop Python applications with focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Experience with Flask and/or Django.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React preferred.
• Strong SQL querying across multiple tables; MongoDB experience.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, AMQP web services.
• Docker experience; containerization.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical tasks.

Responsibilities
