Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a Developer II - Software Engineering with strong Python, SQL, cloud data platforms, and distributed data processing experience.

You will develop and optimize Snowflake solutions, PySpark workflows, and REST API integrations in Kubernetes environments. You will support ML models and LLm-based applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar platforms, and implement CI/CD pipelines with Git.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience including optimization.
• Strong PySpark experience and scheduled data processing.
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Expertise in REST API debugging and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes troubleshooting.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience supporting or developing Machine Learning models.
• Experience working with LLM-based applications (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and data processing workflows.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake solutions, including advanced query development and data optimization.
• Build and maintain PySpark-based data processing solutions and scheduled data processing services.
• Troubleshoot and debug REST APIs and related application integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and workloads running in Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot RabbitMQ messaging environments.
• Support and develop Machine Learning models and related applications.
• Develop and support LLM-based applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar technologies.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Use Git version control and established branching strategies for software development.
• Troubleshoot application, data, infrastructure, and integration issues to ensure reliable system performance.
