Job summary

Turing is seeking a highly skilled contractor to design and refine rubrics for preference data and to label data with exceptional quality. You will help build pipelines and infrastructure to support data generation, collection, and evaluation workflows, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for researchers and engineers.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Python or TypeScript, have hands-on experience with preference data, and communicate complex work clearly.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript; building/maintaining pipelines and infra.
• Hands-on experience with preference data collection and rubric creation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex work into clear summaries.
• Demonstrated high-taste judgment; articulate why something is good, not just that it is.

Responsibilities

• Design, refine, and iterate on rubrics and evaluation criteria for preference data.
• Review and label data with a high bar for quality; build and maintain data pipelines and evaluation infra.
• Synthesize findings from data work into clear write-ups, updates, or recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to translate qualitative judgment into scalable processes.
