Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Commissioning Manager for a 1-year contract assignment. The role involves conducting performance analytics of PV power plant systems, coordinating energy forecasting, and overseeing commissioning and testing activities.

Occasional travel within the United States is required, with most work performed remotely. The candidate will act as Owner's representative, manage commissioning work by contractors, and report to Senior Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience involving utility solar power systems.
• Experience with SCADA systems of industrial plants/processes.
• Ability to coordinate energy forecasting and testing for PV startup projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare projects for PPA, GIA, and ISO testing.
• Manage test energy forecasts and AVR/AGC notifications with customers and partners.
• Support IT & SCADA teams with functional checks.
• Develop a commissioning schedule with SCADA Integrator and PM.
• Verify SCADA HMI functionality with SCADA Integrator and Commissioning Manager.
• Review performance data for deficiencies.
