Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to build configurable reports enabling expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. You will shape a brand-new team, collaborate with multiple customer-facing groups, and develop scalable reporting forms and workflows.

Applicants should have public safety tech experience, strong JavaScript/JSON skills, and a customer-focused approach to solving complex compliance challenges.

Qualifications

• Public safety technology experience.
• Experience configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions (Forms.io preferred).
• Proficient in JavaScript and JSON for form configuration.
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product, Customer Success and other teams.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure state-specific compliance reporting forms.
• Partner with CS, Solutions Engineering, Product and Engineering to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers.
• Help establish engineering standards for a brand-new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related tech.
• Improve internal docs and tooling to simplify compliance reporting.
