You will describe your main responsibilities, break them into tasks, and identify dependencies based on your real experience. No outside research is required.

Selected participants will complete an initial survey with guidance from a study coordinator. Wave 1 payments are time-based and issued weekly.

Qualifications

• Current or former experience as a public defender
• Hands-on experience representing indigent clients in the United States
• Ability to describe the work you personally performed
• Ability to identify the jurisdiction and period in which you practiced

Responsibilities

• Describe primary responsibilities as a public defender
• Break work into specific tasks and smaller activities
• Explain task dependencies
• Describe variations of the same task where applicable
• Identify jurisdiction and period of practice
• Provide responses based on your own professional experience
