Job summary

Arkansas State University’s Department of Government, Law & Policy invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in public administration beginning Fall 2027. This is a fully online teaching role with the primary responsibility for the NASPAA-accredited online MPA program, and may also teach courses in the online undergraduate program in political science.

Qualifications

• An earned MPA or related master's degree with substantial professional experience in public or nonprofit management.
• PhD, DPA, or other terminal degree in public administration, public policy, political science, or a cognate field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality online instruction in the MPA program and, as needed, the online undergraduate program in political science.
• Mentor students and contribute to the ongoing success of the online programs.
