Job summary

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling in New York offers a remote psychotherapy role for licensed clinicians. We serve young adults, middle-aged adults, the elderly and couples, with a focus on PTSD- and OCD-related care, and a commitment to inclusive, culturally competent services.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, individual and couples therapy, detailed clinical documentation, scheduling, and weekly team meetings.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS license (LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP).
• Experience with DBT, ACT, CBT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to maintain private remote work environment and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake assessments and psychotherapy to individuals and couples (if desired).
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation per insurance and practice standards.
• Schedule appointments with patients.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Perform additional job-related responsibilities as requested.
