At McPherson Clinical & Consulting Services, we're searching for a compassionate, experienced part-time Psychotherapist who is committed to providing high-quality mental health care through telehealth. This fully remote role offers flexibility, professional growth, and a diverse caseload you can feel proud of. Compensation ranges from $39.60 to $108 per hour (based on licensure and experience). You start your day knowing you'll make a difference—logging into your virtual office from home, supporting clients trusting you with their most vulnerable moments. You'll work with individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities, providing culturally affirming therapy that respects their unique experiences. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, guiding clients through trauma, anxiety, or relationship concerns using evidence-based approaches, and documenting sessions professionally. You will participate in team meetings for peer support, feeling supported by colleagues who share your passion for inclusive care. With a flexible schedule, you can structure your caseload of at least 15 clients per week to support work-life balance, while continuing to grow your skills and specialize in your preferred niche.
Requirements include: active and unrestricted mental health license in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD), 2+ years post-licensure therapy experience, experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities, telehealth experience, insurance credentialing eligibility, and malpractice insurance. Preferred qualifications include expertise in areas like trauma-informed care, EMDR, CBT, DBT, couples therapy, bilingual abilities, and experience in private practice or community mental health settings.
