Job summary

Legion Health is seeking clinically excellent psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical responsibility with modern clinical support from Legion.

You will provide responsive clinical guidance, chart review, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while benefiting from comprehensive credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort delivering care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients via evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely diagnosis guidance, treatment plans, and escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
