Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Clearwater, FL is seeking a psychiatrist for outpatient care as an independent contractor. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and management, including brief psychotherapy, with options for in-person and telehealth visits.

We welcome MDs or DOs who are board eligible or board certified, hold an active Florida license or are in the process, and even candidates in the final year of residency.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required for medical licensure in Florida.
• Board eligible or board certified psychiatrists considered.
• Active Florida license or in the process to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapy for diverse mental health conditions.
• Offer medication management and brief psychotherapy as part of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document services per policy.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and treatment options.
