Job summary

Blossom Health is a modern telehealth platform seeking a psychiatrist to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapy, and manage psychopharmacology through remote telehealth.

To qualify, an MD/DO with psychiatry board certification, a valid license, a DEA number, and individual malpractice insurance are required. A home office suitable for telehealth and a flexible schedule are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree with board certification in Psychiatry
• Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO
• Valid DEA number (and CDS number where required)
• Individual liability insurance
• Home office or some other location from which to conduct telehealth visits

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide medical management, mental health counseling, and therapy sessions
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA & insurance regulations
• Offer telehealth services as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Education
