This remote role supports telepsychiatry across a broad patient base, backed by administrative help and a growing professional community. As a contract psychiatrist, you will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapy, and manage psychopharmacology, all while adhering to HIPAA and insurance requirements

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO.
• Valid DEA number (and CDS where required).
• Individual liability insurance.
• Home office or other location suitable for telehealth visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide medical management, mental health counseling, and therapy sessions
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA & insurance regulations
• Offer telehealth services as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
