Job summary

Peregrine Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Tennessee for a 100% remote, full-time role. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients aged 5 and older, collaborating with primary care, therapists, and care teams.

You will have autonomy to make evidence-based decisions while Peregrine covers licensing, credentialing, technology, and care delivery support.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Peregrine Health is hiring experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners licensed in Tennessee to expand access to behavioral health care in rural and underserved communities.

This is a full-time, 100% remote clinical position for PMHNPs who want meaningful clinical work, predictable hours, and the support of a team that handles much of the administrative burden surrounding licensing, credentialing, technology, and care delivery.

You will have the autonomy to make evidence-based clinical decisions while collaborating with primary care providers, therapists, and operational teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with each patient's needs and goals
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects
  • Diagnose and treat co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use conditions
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems
  • Deliver care through telehealth while building trusted relationships with patients and care teams
  • Contribute to behavioral health programs that continue to evolve with the needs of the communities we serve
