Job summary
Brave Health in Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to assess and treat patients with mental health needs, including psychotherapy, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.
The role requires at least 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner, board certification in PMHNP, addiction/mental health experience, and the ability to work with adults across the lifespan. Florida/NY license and active DEA are preferred; telehealth capability is a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with PMHNP board certification.
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health is required.
- Willingness to work with adults across the lifespan (13+).
- Active DEA registration is required for Florida or New York license holders.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients across the lifespan.
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and prescribe psychotropic medications.
- Conduct individual psychotherapy and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans.
