Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine care in Louisiana. The position offers a fully remote schedule with bi-weekly pay, competitive compensation based on 15–20 hours per week, and paid orientation.
Must have PMHNP board certification and active prescriptive authority; licensure in Louisiana is required. Clinicians will assess, diagnose, and treat adults and adolescents, developing collaborative care plans while adhering to Thriveworks’
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of practice.
- Experience in psychiatry (1 year required; 3 years preferred).
- Active licensure in the practicing state is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Treat patients aged 14 and up and develop care plans.
- Prescribe medications when appropriate to reduce symptoms.
- Collaborate with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on patient programs.
