Job summary
Thriveworks currently seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine psychiatric care in Kansas. The role requires KS licensure, board certification, and a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority.
This part-time position offers 15–20 hours weekly, with ADHD training and in-house guidelines mandatory. Clinicians will assess and treat clients aged 14 and up, prescribing as needed and collaborating on care plans, while working within Thriveworks’
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in KS.
- At least 1 year psychiatry practice preferred; 3 years overall experience a plus.
- Must be licensed and reside in the state of practice (KS).
- Part-time requires 15–20 hours per week.
- Completion of Thriveworks ADHD treatment standards training and exam.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Treat patients aged 14+ as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms as needed.
- Develop and update individualized care plans with clients.
- Complete and file required documents and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors regarding clients and services.
