Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Allentown, Pennsylvania to provide telemedicine assessments and ongoing mental health care to adults and adolescents.

The position requires board-certified PMHNP, a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and residency in the practicing state. It offers a fee-for-service W2 arrangement with 15-20 hours weekly, flexible scheduling, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Three years of experience preferred; 1 year in psychiatry required.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments via ongoing telemedicine capacity.
• Willingness to treat 14 years old and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff as needed.
