Job summary

SearchApi is seeking an engineer to build proxy infrastructure from scratch, not by reconfiguring existing tools. You will design rotation systems, manage IP reputation, and implement bandwidth metering for a high-throughput environment.

Remote-friendly role with deep networking, protocol handling, and multi-type proxies. Fluent English, strong CS background, and experience with low-latency systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Built proxy or networking infrastructure before (not just used it).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• BSc or higher in CS or equivalent technical field.

Responsibilities

• Build proxy infrastructure from scratch and not just configure existing solutions.
• Design and implement rotation systems including IP rotation and session management.
• Manage IP reputation and quality across proxy pools.
• Build bandwidth reporting and metering to track usage.
• Write high-performance reverse proxy systems tailored to our needs.
• Handle multiple proxy types: residential, mobile, datacenter, ISP.
• Optimize for latency and throughput; deep networking work.
• Support routing, DNS, TCP/UDP tuning and protocol handling.
