Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a remote Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage enrollment and credentialing for Aspen Dental providers with payers and dental plans. This role requires precise submission, timely updates, and strong collaboration with internal teams.

You will monitor enrollment status, resolve delays with payers, and support audits while working with Field Support and the Revenue Cycle Management team to prevent lapses in coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of payor enrollment experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and credentialing software including CAQH, Availity.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow up skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and track payer enrollment applications for new providers and changes.
• Maintain records of enrollment activities in credentialing system.
• Communicate with insurance companies, providers and internal departments to ensure timely processing.
• Monitor enrollment status and follow up with payers to resolve delays.
• Update provider demographic and practice information with all contract payers as needed.
• Ensure recredentialing timelines are maintained to avoid lapses.
• Collaborate with Field Support, Operations and RCM to resolve issues.
• Research and resolve out-of-network enrollment issues.
• Coordinate temporary enrollments and ensure documentation and payer updates are complete.
• Provide enrollment reports and support audits.
