Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Provider Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and recredentialing activities for the World Trade Center Health Program. You will ensure regulatory compliance, verify licensure and certifications, and manage provider onboarding workflows from any location or remotely.

The role requires 1+ year of credentialing experience, a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred), and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years of related healthcare credentialing experience.
• Knowledge: Initial credentialing and recredentialing processes, PSV, CMS/NCQA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day credentialing and recredentialing activities to support regulatory compliance and onboarding.
• Collaborate with providers and internal credentialing teams to ensure complete applications and documentation.
• Perform Primary Source Verification (PSV) and verify licensure/certifications; prepare files for committee review.
• Utilize credentialing systems and regulatory standards to support quality provider management operations.
