Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Provider Credentialing Specialist to ensure healthcare providers are properly credentialed, compliant with regulations, and ready to deliver services to WTCHP members.

You will lead day-to-day credentialing activities, verify licensure, and maintain meticulous provider records while collaborating with internal teams to meet CMS and NCQA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of healthcare credentialing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of initial credentialing, recredentialing, PSV, and CMS/NCQA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day credentialing and recredentialing activities to support regulatory compliance and program readiness.
• Collaborate with providers, internal credentialing teams, and leadership to ensure accurate applications and documentation.
• Perform PSV, validate licensure and certifications, prepare files for committee review, and maintain provider records.
• Utilize credentialing systems and regulatory standards to support high‑quality provider management operations.
