Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Network Management Consultant to support provider recruitment and contracting for the Texas Territory across Commercial, IFM, and Government Programs. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts with hospitals, physicians, and IPA networks, building provider relationships, and supporting complex contracting activities.

Travel within the territory (<10%) is required. This is a telecommute (remote) role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and/or 5 years managed care experience with provider contracts.
• Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Verbal and written communication; organizational and planning skills.
• PC proficiency including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage provider contracts for hospitals, physicians, IPA and related groups.
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers.
• Support complex hospital and physician contracting activities; travel within territory (overnight <10%).
