The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of high-voltage substation equipment, industry standards, and project management skills. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of protection and control systems for high voltage substations (15-500 kV).
• Oversee all aspects of the substation project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct critical calculations such as relay burden, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations to ensure optimal system performance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to meet project objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Ensure all designs and implementations comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to protection and control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in protection and control systems for high voltage substations (15-500 kV).
• Proven experience managing the entire substation project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of performing relay burden, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations.
• Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
