Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Remote Property Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and operations of our vacation rental property. This is a fully remote role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations, a high-quality guest experience, and optimal occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Management:
    • Coordinate check-in/check-out processes
    • Handle guest inquiries and issues via Airbnb/VRBO/Booking.com or other platforms
    • Manage guest reviews and ensure a 5-star experience
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Liaise with local service providers (cleaners, maintenance teams, etc.)
    • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Schedule cleanings, inspections, and maintenance
  • Booking & Calendar Management:
    • Monitor and update booking calendars across platforms
    • Optimize availability and pricing to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Oversee payment processing and coordinate with the accounting team
    • Track expenses and provide monthly performance reports
    • Maintain property inventory lists and order supplies as needed
  • Marketing & Optimization:
    • Assist with listing optimization, photography updates, and promotions
    • Monitor competitor listings and implement strategies to stay competitive
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or project management
  • Familiarity with short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using property management tools (e.g., Guesty, Hostfully, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable coordinating with on-the-ground teams from a remote location
Preferred:
  • Experience working remotely with international clients
  • Customer service background a plus
Job Type:
