JB Leitch Limited is growing its Property Litigation team and invites qualified Solicitors/Associates/Senior Associates to work on high-quality property litigation for a broad client base including landlords, pension funds and asset managers.

This collaborative, ambitious team handles advisory and contentious matters from pre- to post-issue litigation, with hybrid and remote working options designed to support work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in property litigation.
• Strong landlord and tenant law knowledge.
• Experience with breach of covenant, forfeiture, FTT appeals, and building safety litigation is desirable.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing title documents and leases at residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Advising on the merits of claims and case progression based on evidence and contractual documentation.
• Advising on protection of possession claims.
• Advising on rent reviews, covenants, easements, and trespass.
• Advising clients on current health and fire safety legislation affecting multi-let developments.
• Participating in monthly client calls to provide case updates and progression insights.
