Job summary

State Farm seeks a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner and commercial claims. You will meet insureds on-site, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with remarkable service.

Responsibilities include on-site assessments, gathering evidence, and coordinating with policyholders and agents to resolve claims efficiently. Remote-field work with travel within territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies and apply them accurately.
• Preference for building construction knowledge and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to resolve claims.

• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms for claim validity and compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits.
