Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking a part-time Hybrid Accountant for our real estate portfolio in Orlando. The role emphasizes property management accounting, monthly reconciliations, and depreciation schedules, with a focus on accurate financial reporting.

This contract-to-hire position offers flexible hours and a remote-friendly environment within a supportive finance team. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in a related role, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Yardi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar accounting role, preferably in real estate or finance.
• CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities for commercial property portfolio, including rent collection and expenses.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain ledgers.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy.
• Maintain depreciation schedules for company assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
• Collaborate with team to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in budget reporting and calendar year-end tasks.
• Conduct data audits and document controls for quality.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Support in financial reporting as needed.
