Job summary

FAO is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Kosovo dairy value chain project from the regional REU office. You will coordinate activities with KAMP and national partners, monitor progress, and ensure timely, compliant reporting to the donor.

Reporting to the LTO and working with Kosovo and REU teams, you will drive effective implementation, stakeholder collaboration, and capacity building across project sites. This is a home-based role with international exposure.

Qualifications

• University degree required in agriculture, agribusiness, veterinary, rural development, agricultural economics, dairy or food science, project management, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant working experience in agriculture‑related projects, value chain development, rural development, or project management.
• Working knowledge (level C) of English and Albanian.
• National of Serbia or Albania or resident of one of the two countries with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project activities with KAMP, local institutions and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against the results framework, workplan, milestones and deliverables in consultation with KAMP’s Project Manager.
• Organize and follow‑up regular project coordination meetings with FAO staff, KAMP’s Project Manager and other partners.
• Assist in selecting and engaging project beneficiaries with transparency and compliance with FAO rules.
• Draft terms of reference for local consultants and providers, including tasks and reporting lines, for clearance by FAO officers.
• Coordinate reporting deadlines and review technical deliverables prepared by local consultants, in consultation with KAMP’s Project Manager.
• Maintain engagement with beneficiaries and stakeholders to identify needs, gaps and implementation challenges.
• Monitor training activities in coordination with local authorities and implementing partners.
