Overview

Program Specialist — REMOTE

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Schedule: M-F 8am-8:30pm EST

Anticipated Start Date: 12/1/2025

End Date: 3/31/2026

Contract length: 4 months

Training period: 8 weeks (December 1 - February 1)

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact, providing operational and reimbursement support to complex programs.
  • Own issues and remove obstacles that prevent patients or providers from accessing the therapies requested.
  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative, identifies barriers, and collaborates with the appropriate parties to resolve issues for the customer.
  • Manage a high-volume of customer-facing tasks daily or perform data entry quickly and accurately in the program\'s tracking system.
  • Interact with customers by phone, sitting and talking for long stretches; agents will handle 60-100 inbound calls per day with an average handle time of 6 minutes. Calls include enrollment status, medication shipment status, general patient inquiries, and outreach for missing information.
  • Experience with safety/adverse events is preferred. Strong customer service and empathy skills are essential. 100% call quality is expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits may include: medical, dental & vision; life insurance; disability coverage; 401(k); HSA; transportation benefits; PTO/vacation/sick leave; and other plan terms. Benefits are subject to change and may depend on elections and plan terms.
