Mazda Motor Corporation seeks a Program Manager, Chemicals and Recycling Compliance to coordinate U.S. regulatory activities for chemicals, battery recycling, and extended producer responsibility programs.

You will monitor federal/state developments, translate requirements for stakeholders, and lead reporting with agencies. You will partner across Mazda entities, manufacturing, suppliers, and industry groups to align regulatory obligations with product development and supply chain processes,

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in chemicals, environmental, product stewardship, regulatory compliance, battery lifecycle, recycling, or related field.
• 5+ years engaging government agencies, trade associations, or regulatory processes and coordinating cross-functional projects.
• 5+ years Microsoft 365 data analysis, presentation, and document-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze federal and state laws related to chemicals, PFAS, refrigerants, plastics, batteries and EPR.
• Coordinate preparation, review and submission of regulatory reports and registrations.
• Lead cross-functional coordination of regulatory requirements across MNAO, MC, and suppliers.
• Participate in industry groups to monitor regulatory developments and share best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance governance.
