Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking Coding Specialists to join our remote team. The Coding Team Member will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1–4 specialties.

Specialties needed include Primary care, Trauma, Orthopedic and Neurology. All Coders must be certified through AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P) and maintain 95% accuracy and productivity. Candidates should have 2+ years of on-the-job experience and proficiency with EMR, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P.
• Minimum 2 years of on-the-job coding experience.
• Proficient with EMR and Billing systems; able to use CPT/ICD-10-CM references.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for assigned cases.
• Apply codes with the highest level of specificity.
• Maintain required productivity (95%+) and quality (95%+).
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure documentation supports codes.
• Work independently from home and meet deadlines.
