Job summary

Astrix in Raleigh seeks a Product Manager to lead growth and strategy for a portfolio of SaaS and LIMS products in Food & Beverage. You will own the full lifecycle from discovery to delivery, working with engineering and go-to-market teams to drive revenue and customer value.

Experience in food safety workflows, LIMS, and AI-enabled features is essential; you will translate market insights into compelling product decisions and collaborate across functions to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Food & Beverage safety or testing environments.
• Direct experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Experience delivering SaaS software products.
• Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market activities.
• Experience working with AI or Generative AI product features.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and long-term direction for the portfolio.
• Identify target customers, market segments, and product use cases.
• Conduct market and competitor research to guide product decisions.
• Identify growth opportunities through innovation, partnerships, and market expansion.
• Create and manage the product roadmap.
• Translate strategy into product features and development priorities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to plan and deliver new releases.
• Ensure product quality and successful SaaS product delivery.
• Develop product positioning, value propositions, pricing, and packaging.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to support product launches.
• Assist with demos, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Gather customer feedback to improve products.
• Use AI tools to improve product development and analysis.
• Evaluate customer requests for AI features.
• Work with engineering teams to implement responsible and valuable AI capabilities.
• Act as the primary owner for product success and performance.
• Coordinate work across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Identify risks and communicate updates to stakeholders.
