Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Residential Charging & Home Energy Management to own the home charging hardware roadmap and integrate it with firmware, cloud, and energy management capabilities. You will drive partnerships, pricing, and launch readiness across North America, coordinating with engineering, operations, and GTM teams.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years in hardware product management, experience with connected energy products, and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

8 to 12 years in hardware product management or product line management.
Experience delivering connected hardware, firmware, and software from concept to volume production.
Experience in residential EV charging or home energy systems.
Familiarity with UL 3141, UL 9741, IEEE 2030.5, OCPP, ISO 15118, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the product line roadmap and strategy for home and residential AC hardware, including pricing, demand, and build quantities.
Lead products from development to launch as product owner for go/no-go decisions, including factory readiness and certification.
Define home energy strategy, including load management and smart-home standards; decide make vs buy vs partner.
Own relationships with strategic partners such as utilities and automotive OEMs; represent product in pilots and programs.
Drive field quality post-launch with Quality, CX, and Engineering; translate feedback into fixes and roadmap updates.
Coordinate cross-vertical dependencies with Commercial, Fleet, and DC Charging to manage the backlog.
Define and execute go-to-market plans with Residential Sales, Channel, and Product Marketing.
Leverage AI tools and emerging tech to accelerate product definition and delivery.
