Job summary

Ajaia is hiring a remote Product Manager to own products end to end in its product suite. You will talk to users weekly, decide what to build next, and write specs for engineers to implement. You’ll prototype with AI tools and track outcomes after launch, contributing to code and design directly.

You will work with a US-based team and clients, mainly in New York time zones, with daily overlap in US Eastern hours. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and a performance bonus is included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in product management or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• Available for 7–8 hours daily overlap with US Eastern Time (9am–6pm ET).
• Legally able to work as independent contractor or employer of record.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Talk to users and customers weekly to gather real usage data.
• Rank and decide what to build next based on signals from usage data and interviews.
• Explain clearly what will not be built when evidence does not support it.
• Write specs with clear outcomes, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Prototype core flows using AI tools or quick demos to settle design debates.
• Contribute to design and code to ship a small feature or mock.
• Collaborate with design and delivery teams on execution and ship date.
• Present roadmaps and tradeoffs to stakeholders when there is pushback.
