Job summary

Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a Product Management SME to help Federal Student Aid translate mission and user outcomes into technically achievable product strategies, roadmaps, capabilities, backlogs, and measurable results.

The Product Management SME will serve as the technical bridge between FSA product owners and the architecture, data, integration, platform, security, engineering, and operations teams responsible for delivering the product.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 8+ years in product management or related tech delivery.
• Ability to pass a 6C Public Trust investigation and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Mentor FSA product owners and contractors on product-management practices.
• Define product visions, outcomes, roadmaps, and performance measures.
• Translate mission and user needs into product capabilities and priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, cloud, security, and data teams.
• Facilitate roadmap development using business value and technical risk.
• Support backlog refinement and ensure linkage to defined outcomes.
• Help define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Incorporate telemetry, analytics, and user feedback into decisions.
