Coinbase is offering a 12-week Product Design Internship for Summer 2027. You will work embedded on a product team across Coinbase's core products, partnering with researchers, designers, PMs, and engineers to bring ideas to life.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or project samples showing design work.
• At least one end-to-end design project (academic, personal, or professional).
• Basic familiarity with cryptocurrency concepts and Coinbase's ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own a product design project end-to-end, turning a concept into a polished UX across mobile/web with guidance from an intern manager.
• Collaborate with the product team and cross-functional partners to define user needs and explore solutions.
• Lead design critiques and incorporate feedback to improve solutions.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and collaborate with engineers on implementation.
• Apply human-centered design methods to navigate ambiguous product challenges.
