Department of Environmental Conservation seeks a procurement professional to lead construction-related procurement for the Village Safe Water program across Anchorage, Soldotna, Wasilla, Fairbanks, or Juneau.

You will supervise staff, guide procurement strategy, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, while collaborating with project teams and executive leadership on timely, well-documented contracts.

Competenze

• Experience in contracting or procurement, including negotiation and administration.
• Knowledge of property control and procurement processes.
• Ability to make sound, well-informed decisions.
• Ability to influence/ negotiate with stakeholders.
• Experience in managing staff and providing feedback.
• Technical credibility applying regulations and policies.
• Special certification: Level 3 Procurement Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
